This policy explains how Zakor Pty Ltd trading as Jodi Pringle (ABN 71 660 070 262) handles your personal and health information. Because we provide health services and hold health information, we are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) regardless of our size.

In this policy, “we“, “us” and “our” means Zakor Pty Ltd trading as Jodi Pringle, a holistic wellbeing practice offering massage, Reiki and energy healing, psychic readings, online courses, memberships and a private community, based in Townsville, Queensland.   1.  INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Personal information: name, email, phone, postal or billing address, occupation, emergency contact, account and login details, purchase history, survey responses, support queries, blog comments and social media handles.
  • Payment information: processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
  • Technical information: IP address, device and browser information, and website usage collected through cookies and similar tools.

Health and sensitive information. For massage, Reiki and psychic reading clients we collect sensitive information, including your medical history, medications, injuries, allergies, pregnancy status, treatment notes and, for readings, session transcripts. Sensitive information is given a higher level of protection under the APPs.

  1.  CONSENT TO COLLECT HEALTH AND SENSITIVE INFORMATION

We collect sensitive information only with your consent and only where it is reasonably necessary to provide your service safely. You give this consent when you complete our intake and consent form. We use your health information only for the purpose for which it was collected, unless you agree otherwise or the law requires or permits another use. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, though this may mean we can no longer provide a particular service safely.

  • To provide, manage and follow up your treatments, readings, courses, memberships and community access.
  • To take payment, keep records, and meet our legal and insurance obligations.

  1.  STORAGE, SECURITY AND WHO CAN ACCESS YOUR RECORDS

Client health and intake records are held in paper form and in secure digital storage (Google Drive), and are accessed only by Jodi Pringle. We take reasonable steps to protect all information we hold from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, including secure storage, access controls and encryption in transit where available.

  1.  HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION

We keep client health and treatment records for 7 years from your last appointment (or longer for a client who was under 18, and where the law requires), after which they are securely destroyed or de-identified. Other personal information is kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected and to meet our legal obligations.

  1.  THIRD PARTIES AND OVERSEAS DISCLOSURE

We do not sell your personal information. To run our business we use trusted third-party service providers, which may include:

  • Our website, membership, course, app, email and payment platform (Kajabi and Kajabi Payments).
  • Our online booking system (Calendly).
  • Video conferencing tools for webinars and readings (Zoom or Google Meet).
  • Cloud storage for records (Google Drive), and our accountant and professional advisers where required.

These providers only handle your information to perform services for us and are required to protect it. Some of these providers, or their sub-processors, may store or process data on servers located outside Australia. Where information is disclosed or stored overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles. By using our services you consent to this overseas handling. We cannot always control or specify the exact countries involved.

  1.  MARKETING AND YOUR CHOICES

We only send marketing emails to people who have opted in, in line with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). Every marketing email identifies us and includes an unsubscribe link, and we action opt-out requests promptly. You can also email us to opt out at any time.

Our online purchases and psychic readings are for people 18 and over. Where we provide massage or Reiki to a person under 18, we collect their health information only with the consent of, and in the presence of, a parent or legal guardian.
